7 - Style in World Schools Debate



This week we have a lecture given at the World Schools Debate Academy in Slovenia on the issue of style in World Schools Debate. The speaker is Rhydian Morgan, a skilled trainer from the UK who has taught debating all over the world. Rhydian is also a communication consultant for Stylus Communication. He is always fun and engaging, of course!

6 - Palestine World Schools Debate; Netherlands Snapshot



This week we are in Palestine for an in-depth interview with those who have been creating debating in Palestine as well as working with the team that attended this year's WSDC in Singapore. We will talk to headmaster George Naber, coach and teacher Daisy Giacaman as well as team members Vanessa Abukova, George Khalilieh, Nora Marzouqa and Dana Eiwaiwi. Hear about their experience, how it has changed them and their hopes for how it will change Palestine.

After that, we will have a brief chat with Netherlands WSDC debate organizer Roel Becker about his work the the way this excellent team is organized.

World Schools Podcast 4 - Arguing Choice & Prison Outreach



This week we have some special guests. Again!

International debate superstar coach Roel Becker, who is the coach for Team Netherlands, will talk about the role of argumentation about "choice." Roel will also talk to us about how to prepare on content areas like this. The choice concept is shared on many motions, such as right to die, drugs and alcohol, safety precautions, and many more.
